Packing for camp isn't easy, so we made this list to make your life easier.

 

What to wear

Bnei Akiva requests that all chanichim wear clothes that are sun safe and in accordance with tzniut. This means:

  • Shoulders covered at all times and shorts and skirts should be on or below the knee
  • No leggings or skinny jeans to be worn without something on top
  • Boys must wear a kippa at all times
  • Closed shoes must be worn for certain activities

 

What to bring

  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Toiletries
  • Hat
  • Water Bottle
  • Clothes for 5 days
  • Shabbat clothes
  • Towel (x2)
  • Pyjamas
  • Siddur
  • Tefillin & kippa (for boys)
  • Messy clothes
  • Swimmers for the Pool
  • Flip flops (for the shower)
  • Dress ups (TBA)
  • Something to be tie dyed e.g. white shirt, pillow case, tzitzit, skirt, hat, shorts

Optional

  • Torch
  • Camera
  • Sunglasses
  • Tuckshop money

 

What to leave behind

  • Valuable items (phone, tablet, expensive jewellery)
  • Food containing nuts
  • Medicine that is not required
